Age: His age has been estimated to be 4-years old, but the foster family reports he still acts like a puppy sometimes

Spayed/Neutered: Yes

Health concerns: None

General Activity Level: Active. Requires daily exercise. Loves water and any water activity. Also loves to run, walk, or play fetch.

Interaction with dogs: Doesn’t like strange dogs and will act aggressive towards them

Interaction with cats: Still wants to play with the foster cat, but does not harm her

Interaction with children: Not recommended around small children as he can be physical when playing.

Physical fence required? Yes

Suitable for an invisible fence? I think so

How many hours are they able to be left alone? 4 to 5

Able to climb stairs? Yes

In need of obedience training? Yes, knows most commands and obeys, but not socially trained yet.

Personality and additional information:

Tyler is a big golden full of energy that loves to play and be active. He will act out when bored by grabbing your favorite shoe or towel or sock to get attention. He is well behaved otherwise and a big lap-dog at heart, but will be the pack leader if you let him. Can be left alone in the home without worry. Like some, he does counter-surf if it smells good. Believe that some of his dog aggression will subside now that he is neutered. Recommend an experienced owner who knows how to handle a dominant personality dog.
