On October 15 one of the former fosterers for ARF contacted us with a plea to help a little stray female she and her husband had found at Charles Fork Lake. She sent pictures of the little girl that they were calling Daisy. We checked for a microchip, but there was none. Daisy may be a basset hound and spaniel mix, black and white, and very pleasant. She gets along with everyone, though she will chase a cat if it runs. She responds well to treats for training and rides well in the car. The foster mom thinks she is under two years old; she is a small doggie (16.7 lbs) but is full grown. She walks well on a harness and stays around the house on the farm where she is living temporarily. She lets her nose lead her, though, and in a more populated area would need a fenced yard to keep her safe. Daisy is well on her way to being housetrained. She is a very nice dog who lost her way or was put out to fend for herself. She deserves better. Can anyone give her the loving home she deserves?
