Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mia is wanted for stealing hearts!! You can even find a perfect one on her nose, which is what she uses to reel you in and snatch yours. One thing for sure is she never meets a stranger and is such a happy girl. Her passion and zest for life be it sleeping, playing, or eating will definitely keep you on you laughing and on your toes.
One of her favorite things to do is play with all her foster siblings, but her best buddy is Annabeth (formerly in our program). They love to wrestle and play tug-o-war with the rope toy. Mia has attended a doggie day care a few times to continue her sociability with other dogs and the staff just love her! She also enjoys interactive toys and has become an expert snuggler, especially with her foster dad.
Mia is already crate trained, housebroken, knows sit, and is working on other basic commands. There is no bedtime drama here either; she puts herself to bed in her crate all on her own. We think it's because she loves her bed so much.
Due to food and environmental allergies, she will need to be kept on a grain free fish based diet, along with prescription allergy medication through a veterinarian.
If Mia has stolen your heart already, email lizzieshand15@gmail.com to request an application.

The shelter software system requires us to choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of our dogs we are only guessing predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
