Pop Rocks is a gorgeous five-year-old sable-colored Husky with unusual, almost opaque blue eyes. His owner passed away and his owner's family could not keep him.

Pop Rocks has had a lot of changes in his life in the past few months, so he is still adapting. Here's what we know about him: He LOVES car rides. He loves to go anywhere outside on his leash & although he is strong, he listens very well on the leash. He is interested in everything going on around him. He never lived with other dogs, however he loves being around his foster brothers and sisters. He listens very well most of the time. When you call him he comes running & he knows several commands. He does not beg. He takes treats from your hands in a very soft gently manner. He is interested barely in his foster home's cat & when he does take notice a simple 'no kitty no' command will cause him to look for something else to interest him.

His foster home is currently working on his manners - he lets you know if he disagrees with you & that should abate as he learns to trust his foster family more. He has not lived with other dogs so he is not sure yet of “doggie protocol” & the correct way to play with other dogs. His foster brothers and sisters are teaching him what is considered “acceptable” play. He does not like his crate yet, but he is becoming more used to it & that just shows how smart & adaptable he is.
