Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Rocky!
Rocky is an 18 month old yellow lab /gazelle mix! Just kidding - Well we think maybe grey hound mix but he sure does look, run and jump like a gazelle. He weighs in just around the 50lb mark and could afford to gain a few more pounds. Rocky gets along well with other dogs and is super friendly. Rocky knows sit and no and we are working on stay. Rocky loves to be around his people! He follows his foster mom all through the house. Rocky listens very well when inside the house. However when outside he becomes distracted. and sometimes chooses to ignore you like a typical two year old human! For this reason Rocky will need a fenced in yard or must stay on leash when taken out until he gets better at coming when called outside! Rocky is pretty good on the leash He is still a pup so he will need some time to master other basic commands and some toys to chew and play with. He is very gentle when taking treats and does not jump on people per se. Rocky does not bark much – except at his foster Mom’s horses.. he’s just not sure what to make of them. Rocky is an owner surrender from Texas. A widower’s children though their Dad needed a pup when his wife passed away. It turned out that Rocky is not what he needed or had the time for – so he was turned into a local vet in Texas. That’s when a volunteer reached out to Brooke’s Angels to see if we could find him a home her in the North where his new owners would have time for him and love him.
Rocky is housetrained and crate trained – matter of fact he loves his crate very much – he goes in on his own and sleeps or just chills out!
Rocky is neutered, microchipped, UTD on r vaccines and on HW preventative. Her adoption fee is $450. Please consider adopting Rocky. If interested please email SHERRYL825@cox.net for an application.
