Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello Everyone, Angelina
My ’formal’ name is Angelina but my friends call me Angie, and you can too. Not to brag, but I’m an affectionate, adorable, loving and beautiful little bichon girl who is two years old and tips the scales at only 12 pounds. My foster Mom says I’m an incredibly sweet, gentle and playful pup who is eager to learn and please – and that I love being part of a family. She says that I am, without a doubt, the most perfect companion.
One thing that I want you to know is I that I love all people big and small, andparticularly the small ones called kids. I have lots of games that I like to play with them, too! One of my favorite games I play with my human foster brother is called ’run-and-chase tag’. I chase him and he chases me then I chase him, over and over until we both are tired. I also like to go to the playground. I have so much fun sitting on my foster sisters’ lap and going down the slide! WHEEEEE, lets do that again!. Mom says she doesn’t know who was smiling more, my human sister or me. Of course when all the games are overand it’s time to relax, I’m content to sit happily on someone’s lap and give my family kisses upon kisses.
Dad says to tell you that I’m always excited to go for rides in the car and that I seem to know when it’s time for the next one. I sit quietly at the door, then jump happily into the car. (I like to take my three year old sister to school and to return, later, to pick her up.) Dad also wants you to know that I love my walks, belly rubs and of course, cuddling. He says I want so much to be loved and belong – and I’m just waiting for the right family to come along.
Angelina I bet you are thinking that there can’t be a happier pup than I am, but it wasn’t always that way. You see, my previous family didn’t keep me safe so I wandered away and was hit by a big mean car that just kept going. Nobody came to help me. Animal Control eventually found me and took me to the shelter. I was hurt badly and it seemed like there was no hope for me at all. Then, all of a sudden like magic, my BFK aunties came to the rescue. I needed this thing called surgery (my aunties called it a major orthopedic surgery) in order to heal and live a normal, happy life. Lots of really kind people donated money to help so I could get better and now I have recovered beautifully.
Since then, each day in my life is filled with new experiences. I am learning commands and I sleep quietly through the night in my little bed with my very own blankie, or better yet, with my human brother in the big peoples bed. I’m a loyal companion who is very playful and very loving and I’m looking for a loving family with children who like to go for walks and rides, wants to cuddle and play – and who can give great belly rubs!.
So if you are looking for a sweetheart who is not an ‘alpha’ dog and who would be happiest in a home with a family with children that she can entertain, love and adore, then I’m the girl for you. Ask for Angie. I offer a loving heart, loyalty that knows no bounds and lots of playful companionship.
Sending lots of kisses your way,
Adorable, Affectionate and Adaptable Angie
PS I’m also good with dog-friendly cats!
