Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello there! I knew you would just have to take a peek at me!! I’m not normally modest; however, I have been told that I am a very beautiful girl!!
I have come along way in the short time I have been with Friends of Penny. You see, I came from that scary place they call a shelter; and was in danger of being put to sleep. Now, I’m not exactly sure what that means; however I didn’t like the sound of it one bit.
Then, one of my guardian angels found out about me. I overheard her say that there were so many furkids at Friends of Penny, there wasn’t a foster home for me just yet… and I began to worry. But, how senseless that was! She came and got me anyway!! I am so very grateful to her for getting me out of that awful place.
Then, in a short time I got to my foster mom’s house. What fun I have been getting to have there! There are other doggies to play with; and every one of them is happy and healthy; unlike that awful place I was before. There is even a kitty… and you know what? I decided I like her just fine, too. I even like to lick her and clean her up a bit… (Although I’m not sure how much she enjoys it!!) I LOVE to play with my step furbrothers and sisters… and I get along with everyone just great. I love toys of all kinds. Just point me in the direction of the toys and I will be occupied for hours on end! I do well with kids; however, we would prefer a furever home that has older children since I still can get a little scared sometimes, I may not understand young children.
My foster mommy says I am a very special girl. When I first got to her house, I was very scared of my new foster daddy. I guess you could say that I was afraid of men… but I have come a long way with that! My foster daddy was very patient with me… and when I was ready, he was there to show me all the love and attention I had never gotten from a man before. We are best buds now!
I am crate trained (although I MUCH PREFER TO SLEEP IN BED UNDER YOUR COVERS J ). I am working hard on my potty training and doing very well at it. I do well on a leash, too! I am heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on all my vaccinations, and on monthly flea and tick prevention.
I will be going to get spayed and microchipped very soon! After that, my foster mommy says I will be ready to go for my furever home; and I am SO excited!
So, the question… Do I sound like the perfect girl for you? If so, please indicate that you are applying for ME, CINNAMON!!! If not...Don’t worry. I have lots of step fur brothers and sisters here at Friends of Penny… and we are all special in our own way. I’m sure your perfect new furkid is only a click away!
Oh, and in case I’ve sparked your curiousity and you have some questions about me, feel free to contact my foster mom! She will be happy to answer any questions you may have!
