Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Robin is a fun, energetic and playful, one-year-old, 10-pound, male Yorkshire Terrier-mix looking for a loving guardian.
Robin was born in a home with numerous dogs. He’s great with all dogs and loves to wrestle with them and go on leashed walks. He can be a little nervous at first when meeting new dogs and new people. It just takes him a little while to warm up. So, he can be barky at first. He is also fine with dog-friendly cats! He enjoys car rides, and is learning to use the stairs in the house. He does not know any formal commands yet, but he is smart and catches onto new routines quickly.
When taken out on a regular basis, he is housebroken and crate-trained. He also grew up using pee pads in the house. He would benefit from a home with another dog, but if he’s socialized with other dogs regularly, I think he’ll be fine.
Robin is very healthy, de-wormed, neutered, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, micro-chipped, heartworm tested and on monthly preventative. His adoption fee of $350 benefits rescued pets.
To meet and possibly adopt Robin, please contact Sheri at sheri@petraits.com to fill out an adoption application and then call her at 773-777-2891 to schedule an appointment to meet him. He is being fostered in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood – near Lawrence and Ashland.
