My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Baxter is a 3 year old Jack Russell Terrier mix. He has great hair!! All his vet work is done and he is ready to roll! He is extremely sweet and loving with his owner and is always ready for a tummy rub and a hug. Baxter walks well on a leash. He's super duper cute. He's great with people, friendly and playful. He enjoys running around in the yard and looking for varmints! Baxter will keep you safe from lizards, frogs, gophers, moles, and pesky squirrels. Like all JRTs, he wants to "get after things”. In order to adopt Baxter you need JRT experience. If you have never had one he will not be a good fit for you. He will need a securely fenced yard and an owner who can give him a lot of attention and positive reinforcement. If you are gone 8 hours a day he is not going to be a good fit in your home. Baxter requires a home with no kids, no cats, and no other dogs. We will not do an out of state adoption for Baxter. His adopter must be able to drive to the Corsicana, Texas area to get him. A home check and good vet reference are mandatory to adopt Baxter. His adoption fee is $200.
