7/03/06 Frankie was returned today due to being a little too hyper and beginning to snip at smaller children. He does it in play but his family was uncomfortable with his behavior. He loves other dogs so would be good as a companion pet. He is housetrained and well crate trained so needs a new forever home. He weighs about 13 pounds now and looks to be about full grown. He still has his one blue eye and is very smart and sassy. He is still very puupy active and needs much stimulation. NEW PICTURES SOON. Frankie was one of three puppies at the pound...and he was the last one there. No one wanted this little guy. He was rescued with less than an hour to spare on March 13, 2006. He is a Jack Russell mix who is about 10 weeks old. The vet seems to think he will be 5 pounds either side of 20 pounds. He is a very special boy for many reasons...1 he is very grateful to have been saved from death row, 2 he has one blue eye, 3 he is extremely smart. He has already learned to sit, down, and shake, he fetches as well but not for very long (because he reverts to chewing on the fetch toy). It also only took him about 1 week to be crate trained. We are working on house training but he is still a puppy...when he has to go he has to go!! So if we are not fast enough at opening the door...Oops. Because he is so very smart he will need much stimulation not to be destructive. So another dog, children, someone that stays home all are desirable for a dog this special. Oh yeah, and he enjoys playing with the neighbors cat!! He enjoys playing outside but enjoys interacting and sleeping inside with the family. Call the ARFline for more info 337-332-4756
