2/2/06 Spock went to his new FOREVER HOME. He met his new canine brother Buddha and feline siblings as well, he LIKES it and they LOVE him. His human parents are thrilled to have added Spock to their family. Good Luck Spock... 1/18/06 Spock is getting over kennel cough but he still loves to be near us. He is getting better at walking on a leash...it doesn't scare him anymore. He has not had any accidents in the house other than tipping over his water dish??? He looks at you with adoring eyes and is just a grateful dog. He is kennel trained and is very quiet, he still has not barked...he talk-whines when he needs to go outside. Small children may startle him if they are very active. Wow! What a great dog. Spock was rescued from Lafayette Animal Control and how grateful is he? He bows to thank you! He is 27 pounds of furry loving. He leaps and bounds when on his leash to get you to play with him. He gets along well with other dogs but loves cuddling in your lap. He has blue heeler coloring but a longer coat that is super soft. He is a gentle soul who is very attentive. He will need to have attention and activities because he is very smart. He will stray or become destructive if not given the mental stimulation he deserves. So he will need a companion animal or much human attention to remain the HAPPY dog he is now. He will be getting neutered on 1/16/06 and will be ready to go to his forever home after that! Call the ARFline for more information or the set up an appointment to meet Spock... 332-4756.
