My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rowdy is a 13 week old small mixed breed puppy. His mom is a Chihuahua, possibly mixed with Rat or Jack Russell terrier. His dad appeared to be a small Heeler mix. He is currently around 10 lbs, is healthy and current on his shots & de-worming. Rowdy got his name because of his very playful nature. He is bold and outgoing, and always initiating play time with his siblings. As he matures, he is becoming a very well-mannered boy for his age. He is started on housetraining with puppy pads, and has started some crate training. He is not neutered yet and will only be adopted out with a spay/neuter contract and deposit.

His mom was left to fend for herself in the desert when her family moved away. She was extremely shy and avoided capture until just 2 weeks before the puppies were born. Her 14 pound body was housing 8 puppies. She miraculously gave birth to 7 of them before the 8th became lodged and she needed an emergency C-section.
