Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Five years old and since she has been with us more than a year, she is the dog we worry about the most. It is her breed, together with her past, that makes her special. The loyalty and guardian (not guard dog!) of the Great Pyrenees makes her want to protect her person, and her past, having had so many homes and foster homes, tell her to hang on to this person (male or female) and to not let anyone come in between that bond. She so much wants to love and trust but sometimes it is not in her best interest.
Bella needs a mature dominant owner who she can give all her love to. No children, no grandchildren, nor other dogs or cats to have to share affection with or frequent visitors as it would be stressful for her; people coming and going make her very nervous. She listens well, walks reasonably well on a leash, is not a barker, loves car rides as a watchful copilot, and is just perfect in the house, a quiet, clean, faithful companion. We know there is that right home out there for her somewhere - that person waiting who needs her just as much as she needs him/her. Although we are aiming now for the perfect match, please realize that dogs cannot always be perfect, but neither are people. Bella deserves another chance, please give her one. Give it to yourself! In the right setting, finally Bella shall flourish .
If you are interested in meeting Bella please visit our website @ www.poundrescue.com and complete an application form.
Pound Rescue is a charity devoted to helping lost, abandoned or surrendered animals to either be reunited with their owners or to find new homes. Our adoption fees for kittens/cats is $100 and our adoption fees for puppies/dogs is $250. All our animals are spayed/neutered, dewormed and vaccinated.
We are always looking for foster homes. We can only take in additional animals IF we have the space for them. If you have extra room and want to make a difference in the life of an animal, please consider fostering today!
