My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ringo gets his name from his one white nail on his ring pad. He's not more than twelve months old, if that. He's a lover! He was found after being stray reportedly for three days. He's a typical, easily excitable chihuahua mix, but making progress toward balanced calm. His trainer had been working with him to get him into a more balanced, low energy state.

He's worked with his trainer to respond to the word "cush," to lie down, be calm, and submit. A stern "Hey!" mixed in also quiets him down. An air-escaping hiss, "Tsss!" also works. Patiently stop, stare, and silently sigh loudly, and he quickly submits and lies down. He wants to be told to be calm and submit. You always want a calm dog.

Ringo will be at our Adoption Event at PetSmart, 2140 N. Rainbow Blvd., Las Vegas (Rainbow & Lake Mead) on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. For more information, contact Christina at 702-772-2211.
