Meet Maggie! This sweet salt and pepper Retriever Mix has a very soft and sweet personality. Maggie is gentle and shy at first, but would love to meet a human who takes the time to get to know her! Maggie is a *Diamond Dog* at HSP -- this means that she receives a large care package at the time of adoption that includes daycare, grooming, and even a water park pass at Love My Dog Resort! Maggie is currently spending a little time in an HSP foster home. She can be brought to the shelter for an introduction by just calling or emailing the shelter. While in her foster home, Maggie's foster mom has reported that this little girl comes to get her to go outside for potty breaks and has not had any accidents in the house. She sleeps quietly through the night. Although Maggie was very quiet and shy at first in her foster home, within a week she began to start playing with toys and became more active. She knows a few basic commands such as sit, working on stay, she has a good "recall or come" and responds well to a whistle from her human. Her foster mom also reports that this little girl knows how to swim and enjoys the water but prefers shallow water to bounce around in.
