My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Brownie and I have FAITH.
Faith that my guardian angel is out there ready to show compassion ,dedication and kindness to me. See I am kind of a tough case. I have been passed around a lot in my life and I became very insecure and trust is hard for me. So I guard things that I feel are mind.

I am not going to sugar coat things but be truthful from the get go. I am going to take a little extra work because of my insecurities and fears. I have developed what is called resource guarding. With that resource guarding came aggression. YES, I have bitten. Not nipped but bitten. My foster mom and a trainer have been working with me on this and I have not had any occurrences of this since the first week at my fosters, but my savior will have to put some time in (most likely with a trainer also) to win me over and be patient with me and win my trust. I really do have a sweet side and crave your attention. I am very smart and picked up on my crate training and recall very quickly. I love my toys, I am always playing keep away with my foster brother Coco.

I like walks and will sleep in a crate at night. I am around 4 years old, neutered ,up to date on my shots and house broken (although you will have to watch when I first arrive for marking) I would do best in a house with no children. I won't mind a canine friend or two. An experienced owner who can give me patience and training. Are you the one to take that extra step and give me a forever home?
