Sweet Sammy Davis.
Hold on to your heart cause this extra sweet pup is sure to do his best to steal it.
Meet Sammy Davis. This little guy is just about the nicest pup you’re likely to meet. Sammy has a calm, affectionate personality. And will be a terrific companion for some lucky person or family. With soft brown eyes that will make you melt and a smooth, easy care coat this little fella is quite a handsome boy.
Sammy is a Chihuahua/ dachshund mix and is about 5 years old. He is house and crate trained and is very well behaved on a leash. Sammy loves children and going for walks. He has done well with his doggie foster brothers and sisters and seems to be fine with cats around. His personality is unbeatable!
Sammy LOVE’S to be with his person. He is happiest when he is right there with you whatever you’re doing. Sammy is calm, likes to be held and will let you rub his tummy for as long as you’re willing.
Sammy has been fixed and to get ready for his new home he has been seen by our vet. He is up to date on all standard vaccines and is heartworm negative. He is currently on flea and heartworm prevention. Our vet says he’s in great health with no known medical problems.
We do our best to place our fosters is the right type of home to suite their individual needs. With this goal in mind, Sammy’s new home will have to have a fenced in yard for him to enjoy the sunshine. He would do well with a family or as a companion for seniors. Sammy does not enjoy being by himself for long periods of time, we will need to take the amount of time he will be alone when evaluating potential adopters.
