My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Pharaoh, a beautiful blue-gray dog with the sweetest face. He is a strong "horse" of a dog (he is named after American Pharaoh!), but he calms down on walks pretty quickly. He is on the younger side; he has met many people and is sociable with them. He has met children, and appears to be gentle with them.

Pharaoh would do great with an active family, or someone who might take him for jogs so he can use up some of his energy! To meet Pharaoh, come to the shelter during adoption hours between noon and 5 p.m. (6:30 on Wednesdays).

NOTE:
The Adoptapet.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
