Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Harold was born April 25, 2005. Although 11, he is a very young 11. Harold is very playful, loves to go for walks, likes any kind of girl doggie and the girls really like Harold! He is a gentle soul, very easy going especially if he is being groomed or bathed or just getting a nail trim. He is keen and very very intelligent. He likes the outside and is very active.
Harold likes toys and enjoys a good round of fetch! Like most male Scotties he is very affectionate and enjoys being near his person. He has nor has had any health issues. Eyes bright and happy, skin clear and pretty pink.
Harold loves his raw food and prefers to eat in his crate which he willing jumps into at feeding time and bedtime. Perhaps the bedtime enthusiasm comes from getting a treat! LOL!
He has never been around young children so I think a house with youngsters would not be a good match. A home with another dog or two (females only) would be ideal. Harold weighs about 22lbs.
Harold is being re-homed due to his owner having to downsize and move to a new location.
Harold would not do well with too much 'alone time' so a stay-at-home or work-from -home situation would be ideal. He has always lived in a country environment, so don't think apartment life would keep him amused.
He has thrived on a Natural Carnivore diet of raw meat, so you would need to commit to his diet.
It is often a challenge to find a home with another dog that is not on this diet...because the other dogs can get a little jealous when they can smell his real meat meat dinners!
