Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, my name is Honey and I am 3 years old. By the sound of my name, you may have already guessed that I am a sweet heart. Actually, my foster Mom says I'm the sweetest dog she's ever known!
I was found standing on a street corner in a nice neighborhood and a couple of nice ladies rescued me, got me shots and gave me good food. I moved to a great foster home where my Mom gave me a nice soft bed and a place inside her home. Little did she know I was carrying a litter of puppies that I delivered 3 weeks after she took me in. I had 6 total and they were all beautiful and healthy thanks to her good care. All my puppies have now gone on to forever homes and now it's my turn.
I get along with other dogs and even cats that are dog tolerant! I have excellent house manners and will use a pee pad if I need to go when you aren't there to let me out. I ride well in the car. I like to take walks, but can use some work on the leash as I like to pull a little. I know "sit" but am willing to learn more commands. I really do like to be by your side and will follow you around. I guess I'm termed a velcro dog! I haven't been around young children yet so we are not sure how I do with them. I do like adult humans both male & female. I just want to be loved and I give lots of love in return! You won't be disappointed.
Honey is going through heartworm treatment but don't let that scare you away! We will have her better in no time and heartworm free!
Our adoption fee is a $200.00 donation to Pup Squad Animal Rescue. Our adopted dogs are all spayed/neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped. If you are interested in adoption, please go to www.pupsquad.org/adopt to read more about our policies and find our application. Applications should be submitted to adoption@pupsquad.org or via the online form.
We are happy to transport our dogs out-of-state as we have lots of experience doing this and love to see our dogs to the best homes possible! We will assist with the whole process to getting your new pet to you. Feel free to email us regarding availability or any other questions. Please remember all breed estimates are just that...estimations based on our experience.
Thank you for choosing to rescue an animal in need!
