Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Theo is the sweetest little old man. He's super old, we're guessing 12-14 years. He walks stiffly but is strong and in good general health. He doesn't hear well, and his peripheral vision is gone, but he's a wonderful little man who just wants a soft place to sleep and a good poke around the yard. He loves his back scratched.
Theo is a favorite of his foster Mom's. She says he's just easy and sweet, it's a pleasure to care for him. She loves spoiling him with treats.
Theo had a dental where many of his teeth were pulled, but he still has molars and eats dry food quite well. He's also neutered and has a rabies vaccine. We did minimal preventative vetting on Theo because of his advanced age. Theo needs a calm home with a routine where he can spend his final year or two knowing love.
His adoption fee is $150.

Happy Tails Rescue Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit foster-based rescue based in Munster, Indiana. We have no shelter, all of our animals are cared for in loving foster homes until their forever home match is found. All of our animals are fully vetted before adoption, including distemper, rabies, and bordatella vaccines, a heartworm test, fecal test, microchip, and are spayed/neutered. Adoption fees range from $150-$350. If you're interested in meeting one of our animals please fill out an application first. If approved we will then arrange a meet and greet. Happy Tails does not do same day adoptions because we do a short home visit to make sure our animals are being placed in safe environments.
