Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Athena is a 3 month old black tabby and white kitten. Despite her tiny size, Athena is a power house. She knows just what she wants and how to get it. Athena likes people and other kitties too. Come meet this little dynamo today.

During the month of October we have a 'SPOOKtacular HOWLoween Special' here at the shelter. All adult cat and kitten adoption fees are $31! This fee includes spay-neuter, vaccinations, microchip, bag of food, local vet voucher, and a lifetime of love!

The application/screening process for potential adopters usually takes about 24 hours except when it falls over a weekend or holiday, and then it may take two or three days. We ask that potential adopters please be patient with us; we are only trying our best to ensure that the homeless pets in our care get the best possible home. All cats and dogs adopted from our shelter are spayed or neutered (as Texas law mandates).

Our adoption fee is currently $70 for non-residents and $75 for residents*.

The adoption fee includes:

spaying/neutering
vaccinations (appropriate to species and age)
heartworm or feline leukemia test (appropriate to species and age)
de-worming medication
microchip (a tiny ID tag inserted under the skin, which allows your pet to be returned to you quickly)

There is a $5 Pet License fee added to the adoption fee if the adopter lives inside the City Limits of Georgetown.
