My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey, I'm Milo. Cream colored 9 lbs neutered Chihuahua Mix,

I am 70 years old (dog years)( so 10 in people years) but you’d never know it. I’m a perfect little lap dog. I also love to go on walks, car rides, sun bathe, and to play with chew toys.

I am mellow, quiet, well mannered, and pet door trained, get along with other dogs, fine with cats, and am a little independent. No separation anxiety here! Just super happy when my person returns!

I would love an all adult home, I am not good at playing with small young children.

Background: I came in to the shelter as a stray. I was sad and shy, and spent most of my time in the back side of the kennel, getting some quiet time and a little sun bathing. I came down with kennel cough and a volunteer fostered me. It took a little time but I got well, and happy and am now ready for my forever home. I am currently in county foster so county adoption fees apply.
