My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

AVAILABLE 09-11-16 Saks and Barney were brought to the Shelter on 09-03-16 when their owner did not have enough time for them. They are both a year old and have been together since birth. Saks is a bit more confident than Barney who is rather shy until he gets to know you. According to the owner both are housetrained and have been good with other dogs and kids of all ages. There was also a cat in their last neighborhood with whom they were friendly. Saks is spayed and Barney is neutered. Both tested negative for heart worms and have been vaccinated. The two do well on leash and have been walked together by one of our volunteers. Although each would be happy for the other if he/she were adopted, they would be even HAPPIER if they could go to a loving home together. So when you come to the Shelter in Elizabeth City be sure to visit Saks and Barney - they'll be sitting together in their kennel patiently waiting for your arrival.
