Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ellis is a 3 year old Dachshund / Rat Terrier mix and weighs about 13 lbs. This sweet little baby was found limping in a bad part of town. He had several scratches, wounds and just looked defeated. We simply could not leave him behind. He was taken to an animal clinic immediately. His foot was turned out laterally at the hook. Ellis has had surgery and is doing great now. He has no restrictions on his activity level and is ready for a his very own forever family.
Here is what his foster mom had to say about him:
Ellis just got to us. He already is crate trained and keeps it clean, walks on leash without pulling and he knows sit. He seems like he will be very food motivated so should be easy to train
We've got 5 dogs all much bigger than Ellis and all very high energy and playful. We were worried about how he'd fit in with such big dogs and lots of tussling and chaos, but so far he's very confident and happy. We don't think he's fully house trained, working on this.
He is a real cuddle bug, loves to be next to a human, and he's also great in the car and with kids. He's the smallest pup we've fostered but he's got a big personality - you can't help falling in love with him instantly.
**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas but is available for transport to most major US and Canadian cities via United Airlines PetSafe for an additional $275. A customs fee may apply at Canadian airports. Ground transportation to Colorado is available for $75, and several locations in the northeastern US for $175.
We are a street dog rescue in Houston, Texas seeking to place rescued dogs in loving homes across the US and Canada. Our region has more homeless animals than homes, so we look outside of our area for adopters.
The adoption fee of $200 covers neuter, microchip and current vaccines.
