My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Murphy is a sweet little playful boy who likes people a lot. He'd be a good fit for any type of household. He lives with two young boys and is wonderful with them. He is about 13 pounds and maybe 1-2 years old.

Murphy is fully vetted with a rabies vaccine, DA2PPV, and Bordatella vaccine, heartworm and fecal tests, and is microchipped. He is kept on monthly flea/tick preventative and heartworm preventative. Murphy's adoption fee is $250.

Happy Tails Rescue Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit foster-based rescue based in Munster, Indiana. We have no shelter, all of our animals are cared for in loving foster homes until their forever home match is found. All of our animals are fully vetted before adoption, including distemper, rabies, and bordatella vaccines, a heartworm test, fecal test, microchip, and are spayed/neutered. Adoption fees range from $150-$350. If you're interested in meeting one of our animals please fill out an application first. If approved we will then arrange a meet and greet. Happy Tails does not do same day adoptions because we do a short home visit to make sure our animals are being placed in safe environments.
