My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You're going to want to meet Pearl because she's absolutely the sweetest! When she came to the local animal shelter, she was very fearful and we saw that her previous owners hadn't taken the time to teach her any obedience skills. She's come a long way but still has fear issues and will require a very patient family to help her overcome and thrive. Pearl can be very shy meeting new people but, once she gets to know them, she's incredibly sweet.
She's almost through our training program and Pearl has really done well with her trainer and mastered several basic commands - she's a quick learner, eager to please, and everyone who meets her falls in love when she offers a paw to "shake!"
Pearl enjoys playing with other dogs and absolutely loves scampering around by herself with the wind blowing her hair back! She's just as happy curling up by your feet or in your lap - she's a real cuddle bug and loves belly rubs!
Pearl would be wonderful in a family with older children. She would also appreciate having a doggie companion to continue building her self-confidence. We know she'll melt your heart, so please contact us today to meet this lovely girl! She is currently in our training program in Irvine, CA and will be ready for her "fur-ever" home on Friday Oct 21.
