You Can Bet on Lillybet!
 
Lillybet is a darling 10 year old petite little lady weighing in at only 7.7 pounds. Like some of us older girls, she has a round tummy and really likes her chow! She is very shy but is learning to enjoy tummy rubs and ear rubs. She has a grade 3 heart murmur which is not serious and does not require medicine, but it is important to keep a watch on her figure and not allow her to get overweight. She has luxating patellas in her back legs, more in the right, but they do not hurt her and don't slow her down. She can really scoot if she doesn't want to be picked up! She's very quiet and just likes to hang out near you in a comfy bed. Lillybet is working hard on her housetraining but will need continued support.
 
She sleeps through the night and often has to be coaxed awake in the morning at which time she likes her ears rubbed. Lillybet has been fully vetted and microchipped. They don't come any sweeter, and she has many years left to give all her love to someone special. If you take a chance on Lillybet, it will pay off big time!
 
She had a very high liver count that would not go down with meds so they did surgery.  They removed her gall bladder and took biopsies to test for cancer.  She is cancer free, but they found that she has hepatitis.  We are now treating that with meds.  If that doesn't work, the vet doesn't believe that there is much else they can do.  She is still not acting sick or as though she is in pain.  Here's hoping that the meds work for her.
