My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Conrad was rescued from the streets today 4/15 after a nasty fight with another animal. As a result, he has some injuries- he may lose his one eye, he has no vision in it currently. He is missing a toe on each PAW ( which we think is genetic) and missing a claw on one paw. He is the SWEETEST cat you could ever meet. Found by a wonderful man, he is now healing at our vet's office, getting neutered, and shots. He is negative for fiv and felv. Is being treated for parasites and fleas preventatively. He purrs all the time and is so thankful that someone cared enough to rescue him! Update- 4/29- Conrad had successful surgery this week to remove his 'dead' eye- sadly he may not be able to see out of his 'good' eye but this does not stop him from living/loving and being a wonderful cat- Once he is healed he will be ready to go his new home! Update 5-8-10 Conrad went home today with 2 PAWS volunteers in the hopes to keep him- Conrad is completely blind, so this will be a big adjustment for him, as long as he bonds with other animals in the house- he has found his furever home! So far so good! The dog has accepted him, the cats are trying their best- and he is already navigating the house :)
