Coppertone is a 15.2 hand, handsome bay Westphalian gelding that came to HAHS through an ASPCA rescue due to neglect. Coppertone was very nervous and had untreated injuries when he came to HAHS, but he is quickly warming up to human attention and has made a wonderful recovery. Coppertone has a lot of potential for any discipline and is very athletic, but would need an experienced handler at this time to continue his training. Coppertone has been diagnosed with Kissing Spine so he will be adopted out as only a pasture pal. Although he can't be ridden his athleticism and engaging personality make him a perfect partner for liberty, long-reining, or driving.
If you are interested in giving this deserving horse a loving home please contact the HAHS office. Adoption fees do apply. Hooved Animal Humane Society 10804 McConnell Rd Woodstock, IL 60098 www.hahs.org 815-337-5563
