Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Gizmo is fostered McFarland WI 53558, through United Yorkie Rescue. http://unitedyorkierescue.org/
To find out more about Gizmo contact his foster mamma at shellylampe@hotmail.com.
Gizmo is an 18mo old 5lb Yorkie Maltese mix. A ball of fluff, he's curious, smart and stubborn, just like a puppy!
Gizmo came to United Yorkie Rescue in July 2016, surrendered because he kept escaping from his home and running around the neighborhood, risking being hit by a car. He is a very fast little boy who will need a fenced yard and secure gates in doors to prevent him from sneaking out any doorways that are opened. He's a very active puppy who loves to run and play with his toys and play "chase me". He's also affectionate with his people. He tends to be excitable, and with his size a home with no young children will be best.
Gizmo's very loving and will give lots of kisses when given the chance. He's very quick to ask for belly rubs and attention, he sleeps through the night without a peep. His favorite place is snuggled right up next to you! Gizmo is a picky eater who would rather sit with his person than eat. He's also an escape artist as mentioned and will find small openings, under fences, in a cracked door and try to take off. He is working on training to sit before he goes through any door, to develop patience and control. Gizmo is very talk-a-tive and will let you know when he's not happy. Gizmo isn't house trained yet and wears a belly band to help with his training. He'll need a loving, patient and consistent home environment to continue his training.
Gizmo would benefit from an experienced dog owner, with no children, a fenced yard, another small furry companion in the home (preferred but not mandatory) and he'll need regular grooming.
To find out more about Gizmo and his needs, contact his foster mamma at shellylampe@hotmail.com. To complete an application, go to United Yorkie Rescue http://unitedyorkierescue.org
