My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Born approximately May 7, 2016, Freya is one of the 6 Greek Goddess kittens available for adoption. She is named after the Goddess of Beauty for her stunning silver, white and tan tabby coat. In her video, she's helping her sister, Hestia eliminate an insect intruder! Freya is very playful and affectionate, and is always eager to warm your lap! She is very curious and, with proper introduction, likes to meet new kitties and dogs, too. Her initial knee-jerk reaction to strangers, however, is to run and hide. Freya will need some time to get to know you, but once you make that bond, she's your ideal, purrfect kitty.

THANK MEW!

Before scheduling an appointment to meet with our rescue foster kittens, there is some information we must share with you. A large majority of the kittens we foster are former feral kittens (born in the wild with no human contact), and depending on at what age we trap them, and their individual personalities, they may or may not maintain some degree of their instinctive fear of humans after socialization. All of the behavioral descriptions of our kittens are accurate as it pertains to their behavior with their foster family. Their initial behavior with strangers is usually one of fear, wherein they will run and hide.

Be aware that this is only a brief, TEMPORARY state which will pass once they get to know you and your family and determine that you are not a threat to them. Once you make that connection, they will bond with you and your family, as they have with us. This may take some time and patience, but is well worth it in the end.

If you have the patience and are willing to take the time to allow a new kitten to adjust to a new home and family, and are willing to follow our instructions on how best to acclimate them to a new environment, then please complete our online application by clicking on this link (or copying and pasting it into your web browser's address field):

If your application is approved, we will then proceed with making an appointment for you and your family to meet with the kitten of your choice.

Thank mew once again for considering adoption!
