Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Updated bio 9-17-16 Toby Bear is a 7-year-old, 8 lb. adorable-Yorkie boy. Toby Bear was rescued from a city/county shelter where Yorkies do not belong to be! Toby Bear is being fostered in Cookeville, TN.
Toby's adoption fee is $350 and includes all vetting (neuter/spay, dental cleaning, immunizations, microchip and chip registration). A Vet reference, personal references, and home visit are required for adoption. You may apply to adopt Toby by going to our website at www.unitedyorkierescue.org and completing the adoption application located on our home page.
Updated bio 9-17-16 Toby was neutered the other day and he is feeling great and even ate breakfast the next morning. Toby Bear also had his teeth cleaned and although he lost a few teeth he looks and feels great. His pearly whites will amaze you and no more doggy bad breath! Toby will be ready for his forever home on September 20th. Toby is doing well with his potty training. He doesn't mind being crated when it is time to go to bed for the evening. He is such a friendly and outgoing fellow who is just looking for someone to love. Toby Bear responds well to his name, though his foster mom and dad just call him Toby. He will come when you call him.
Toby needs to be in a home with no other male dogs. He seems to not like male dogs especially if other female dogs are present. Toby was used as a breeder dog, and although he was neutered he still thinks of himself as the alpha, and other males may appear as a threat. This behavior may stop as he gets more trusting of his position, but for now a home with no other male dogs, please.
Are you that special person that will love this wonderful, loving little fellow forever? Please fill out an adoption application for him. You will not be sorry. He is the best boy ever.
