Lexi is a 6-year-old, too chubby 17 lb. Morkie who was rescued from a city/county shelter where Morkies do not belong to be! Lexi is being fostered in Cookville, TN

Lexi'S adoption fee is $​350 and includes all vetting (neuter/spay, dental cleaning, immunizations, microchip and chip registration). A Vet reference, personal references, and home visit are required for adoption. A very nice passionate rescue lady let us know that a breeder who retired from the business of breeding Morkies had surrendered Lexi
​ to the shelter.​ We thought Lexi was pregnant only to find out that she has a sluggish thyroid that falls in the low to normal range. A month of thyroid medication and dieting will be Lexi’s salvation. She is a very sweet girl who is well behaved and just wants to be your companion. For some reason the breeder shaved off all her coat, most likely because she was severely matted. It is now growing back with a silky sheen. We are going to give her head a proper haircut in the latest Morkie style very soon. Lexi has a spa day scheduled for September 13th in which she will have the works done: Teeth cleaning, spay, ears cleaned, and nails trimmed. She has had all her shots. Lexi gets along with both cats and dogs and just needs someone to treat her like the queen she deserves to be. Lexi says no more puppy mills for me! Updated photos of Lexi coming soon.
