Hi Folks, I'm Parker. I was on the "endangered species list" at the Parlier, CA animal shelter. I had been incarcerated there since July 13th; I'm not sure what I did to deserve that. A nice lady took my picture and posted it on a Rescue Needed website. Angels Rescuing Animal wanted me. I got a freedom ride out of there and a day later, August 19th, I was aboard a private aircraft in Fresno, courtesy of Pilots N Paws, and on my way to Auburn, CA.
When I landed, I was whisked off to the vets where I got poked, stuck with needles, my body parts tweaked and I got weighed. I forgot my birthday so I got another one, August 19, 2014. I tipped the scale at 10 pounds. I am in perfect health.
I like to play, cool my paws in cool water, go for walks and rides, but most of all, I like to be held and pampered. I haven't met a human I haven't liked.
My adoption fee is $250.
I am not the kind of dog to leave in the yard while children are in school and adults are at work. I require a securely fenced yard of appropriate size for potty and play. This may be modified under certain circumstances. A home check will be done and references checked. Applicants should live within 2 hours driving time of Auburn, CA.
