My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Blackie was abandoned by his owners when the trailer park they were living in closed. Blackie is a very mellow soul who has been beaten up pretty badly. His body is healing but his soul still needs a soft & slow loving touch. He has one 'broken' ear which just adds to his charm. Blackie is just waiting for the right quiet house to come take him home to.

Blackie became very ill very suddenly. Within 48 hours he was at death's door with kidney failure. He was rushed to the vet where we received some very bad news. He had contracted a horrible disease. Rather than wait for the disease to take his life within 24 hours we put him to sleep to ease his pain and suffering. I held him while this was done.

His final months were spent eating good food, being warm, dry & loved. br>
