Meet Quinn! Quinn was found with her brother, Barnabas, after we found them on the side of the road together. Her brother had a very nasty wound on his shoulder which looked to be sliced by someone. We couldn't leave them out in the rain injured and alone, especially since they are young so we took them into rescue!
Quinn is a quirky, fun little girl who LOVES attention of any kind. She enjoys the company of any and all people and is happy to follow you along wherever you go! She gets along swell with other dogs once she's warmed up to them. Sometimes she's a little overbearing to the others because she wants so much attention when all they want is to get out of their face! She is adorably small statured, only weighing in at 35 lbs, we don't suspect she will get very much bigger. She most likely will top out at 45 lbs. Quinn enjoys the outdoors, but especially loves cuddling on the couch. She would make a great companion for any family of any size, as an addition to the family or your first puppy!
Quinn has already been seen by the vet. Thankfully upon pickup she only had a nasty ear infection, which has cleared up now! She was recently spayed, and is only awaiting her last round of shots before she is ready to fly out to her new home! Quinn has been with us for about 3+ weeks now and so far has learned SO much since her arrival to rescue. She has already learned sit, and is perfecting it on a daily basis. She has already become accustomed to a leash and does well when going for walks. Sometimes she likes to pull towards other dogs to be chatty or over excited but a quick correction with "no Ma'am" has her settling back down, asking with pleading eyes what she should be doing next. She will be a fun, easy dog to continue training with! She is already 100% crate trained and is having NO accidents in her crate at all. She's such a smart girl and learns so quickly, it's a lot of fun to see her progress! She is still working on other basic obedience but so far has been great inside the house.
