Meet our newest addition, HoneyBun! This adorable squatty girl was found with her friend Dane after wandering around the neighborhood for several weeks. This sweet, cute little girl is FULL of personality and has a beautiful unique brindle coat that makes her as cute as HONEY!
HoneyBun is a small to medium sized dog, weighing in at 35 lbs only, and belived to be a patterdale mix of some kind. She will stay small, and be perfect for any family looking for a medium sized pup to add to their home! She is estimated to be around 6-7 months of age, and full of puppy energy! She ADORES people and loves spending time with you in any activity you have to offer. Whether it be bike riding, hiking, jogging, or just cuddling on the couch, this girl is the perfect companion!
She absolutely ADORES children and spent a lot of her time on the streets playing with the neighborhood kids just before the school season started up again. The kids spent all day playing in their yards and the streets, and the pups were happy to run alongside them. She is gentle, affectionate, and is quick to learn so training is effective and easy to do. She doesn't seem to mind cats, as long as they don't entice her for a game of chase by running through the house!
HoneyBun has only been with us for approximately a week now, but so far is doing GREAT at learning all her basics! She is enjoying a routined schedule, and consistent meals each day. She has already learned to do ok in the crate and isn't pottying overnight. She is new to leash work and learning things like sit, no jumping, and lay down but slowly she is catching on, and doing so with such a happy smile! Honeybun is easily motivated so we are certain over time she will learn all her basics quickly and be ready for her new family!
