Degreed and well-travelled pup looking for a happily ever after.

Diego, is my name and I was rescued from a less than favorable living situation. Yes, I was once homeless. The only comfort I had was my street buddy, Bigelow. When it was cold outside we would cuddle up; when there were heavy downpours of rain we would squeeze next one another up against a large tree. Yes, we would still get soaking wet, but we had each other. We would protect each other and share our food. Every day we waited at the same corner for those kind ladies, who gave us yummy meals and scratched our ears. They would tell us,” hang in there buddies, we are working on a home for you two.” We didn’t know, what a home actually was, but those ladies kept us hopeful and waiting. My buddy and I had faced quite a few struggles but we always managed to survive. Then one day, I have to admit, we were pretty beat up, I was limping had a cut on my foot, and had bite wounds all over head, and my buddy was not any better off. So, when those lovely ladies arrived to serve us a yummy meal again, they decided that we had to get off the streets immediately. You just don’t know how relieved I was when they loaded us up in their car. I knew I was off to a better place.

Since my rescue, I have learned quite a bit. Life has been good and I had no idea how much fun I had been missing out on all of that time. Since my rescue I have earned several degrees. The Art of Squeaky Toys, Art of Ball Catching, Advanced Techniques in the Science of How to Manipulate Your Human, just to name a few. I have also travelled a lot. I would love for my new human to be just as well traveled as I would need you to take me to my favorite places. Long walks and dog parks are on my priority list, after that we might go to Starbucks to get a puppuccino. I know, I know what amazing treats those are. Ice cream will do the trick too. I also enjoy trips to Petsmart or Petco. So, please be prepared so we can take those fun trips together. I also know how to walk on the leash, I know basic commands, I’m house and crate trained and I love to play with most dogs. I can even tolerate some cats. I love all humans, children included and last but not least I have just earned my Master’s Degree in Cuddling. I had a rough start in life but I’ve come a long way. I’m ready and well-prepared to be your best friend for eternity.
Oh, I weigh about 45 lbs and I’m three years old.

Sincerely,
Diego
