Zeus does very well with children. There are times that he forgets his size and is always gentle with them.

He loves to play with other dogs.

He knows “Sit” command and is learning other new commands.

He loves to go out for a walk. Until he improves, he does best and easily controlled with a short leash with a correction collar. Once he learned to stop chasing after squirrels, he’ll be great on a regular collar/leash or Gentle Leader.

He loves to cuddle.

He so wants to be a lap dog but he is not allowed to be on the furniture. If you allow him to be on your furniture, he’ll find himself in heaven by laying across your lap!

He does not counter-surf nor does he steal food, however, he will briefly supervise your cooking ability. In addition, if you just came home and began to cook a meal, he will express how much he missed you via leaning against you.

Due to his small insecurities, he follows his person from room to room. He also prefers to eat with his person. In spite of his little insecurities, he is not food-aggressive and will let you take toys from his mouth. That is, if you’re strong enough!

His favorite snack that doesn’t cost you a penny? Ice cubes!

He loves to chase water from the garden hose.

He loves to play fetch with a tennis ball or kong.

He loves to watch squirrels out the window.

He is an alert barker but he’s not an excessive barker.

While he does not jump on people, he will express his happiness by rearing up like a horse!

He’s good going for walks or just laying around being lazy.

He is house-trained and will go to the back door or continually nudge you until you ask if he wants to go potty.

Unlike most Great Danes, he is a very clean eater and doesn’t make a mess whenever he eats or drinks. He also doesn’t drool!

He will put his snout towards you so that you can kiss him! He just loves kisses!
