My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sally is a 6-year-old, female, Chihuahua and new to rescue! Her owners have moved to an assisted living facility and are unable to bring Sally with them.

This is an extremely, sweet, happy Chihuahua who likes people, other dogs and is living with cats. Sally’s previous owners told us that she is good with older children, too. She is quite affectionate with her foster mom.

Sally is a bit overweight. When she came into foster care, she was put on a weight reduction program. Sally’s doing great and is almost at her goal weight. She is looking slim and fabulous!

Sally is house trained and enjoys playing with other small dogs and her foster mom.

The adoption process includes completion of an adoption application, a vet check, a home visit and a lifetime adoption contract.

Adoptions are not done on a first come first serve basis. WA German Shepherd Rescue is the companion animal's advocate and will select the most suitably matched home for the dog's general needs and the unique needs of each individual dog in our care. We reserve the right to refuse service and adoption without explanation.
