Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Milo is an adorable little guy who was born around 5/8/16. He is super cute, friendly and very playful! Just give this little guy a toy and he can play and entertain himself! He is 7 pounds and still recovering from the sarcoptic mange he had when we took him in...but he's doing great now and his hair is starting to grow back. He loves all other animals and is fine with cats as well as dogs. He is completely crate trained and does fine in the house when taken out on a regular schedule. He walks well on a leash, adores toys and loves to play. He is fine when playing outside in a safe, fenced yard. He doesn't dig, climb or have any bad habits. This little guy is super adorable and we want only the best home for him! Milo is looking for an inside only home with someone who can give him a lot of attention, buy him tons of toys and make him a lap puppy. A safe fenced yard is nice or he will need to go on several walks a day which may be perfect for the retired person. Milo would rather have someone who is retired so they can spend more time with him but may not be necessary if adopter has another small dog for him to play with. No small children due to age and size of dog - Milo is tiny and we don't want him injured accidentally. If you think Milo would fit well into your home, you can contact us at info.caresga@gmail.com or you can download an application directly from our website www.caresga.org. A perfect vet reference is required (you must show proof you use HW meds, all animal sterilized, all shots current). We DO ADOPT UP NORTH so just contact us for details. Milo's adoption fee is $500 which is higher than most of our adoption fees but still lower than the amount we have in his vetting costs.
The above adoption fee includes each animal being current on age appropriate vaccinations including DHPPL, bordetella and rabies, de-wormed for any internal parasites (round worms, hook worms, tape worms and whipworms), tested heart-worm negative (if positive, they are treated), tested negative for tick borne diseases, spayed/neutered, implanted with a mini micro-chip and have been examined by a veterinarian to certify that they are healthy. All animals are also on a monthly regime of flea and heartworm medication. Lifetime registration for the micro-chip as well as 30 days of free pet insurance is also included in each adoption fee. In addition, each adopter will go home with a fitted collar, tags, a bag of dog food the pet has been on, Forti-Flora, and an adoption kit filled with valuable information and coupons as well as other various treats or toys as promotions become available. All puppy adoptions include a puppy training book, the Puppy Primer by Patricia McConnell, to help ensure a smooth transition for your new family member.
We ask that you consider an additional donation on top of this pet's adoption fee. This money will go directly into our Adoption Fund to be used exclusively for rescuing and caring for other pets in need. Many pets we take in have very high vet bills to get them healthy and adoptable for the public - much higher than their adoption fees. We receive no government funding and rely solely on donations from our community and caring adopters to continue our rescue efforts!
