My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Duke is about 2 years old and is a very sweet, loving boy. He is thought to be a collie/shepherd mix or perhaps a collie/malamute mix. He loves attention and affection and would happily be a lap dog if he could. He is a big boy, currently weighing about 72 lbs and needs to gain about 5 lbs more before being at his ideal weight.

He is great with the foster home's other dogs and likes to play with the younger one. He is very curious about the resident cat and although he is not looking to hurt it he does like to chase it so a home with no cats or a cat who is very dog savvy would be best for Duke. We're not sure how he'd be around kids but with his super sweet personality he'll likely be fine with older, dog savvy children. Duke is really an all-around nice boy who would love to find a home that will make him part of the family. An active, out-going family would be perfect for this social, happy guy
