My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

8 years old, 18 pounds.Look at this happy girl. She has made a total turn around from the first day we got her. She came from a home where she was seriously neglected and at least her brother was abused so she saw it if not felt it. (see Coco below). When we picked up Beauty, she had to have immediately surgery b/c she was covered in mammary tumors b/c she had never been spayed. She had to have several teeth pulled b/c they were so bad and painful. Luckily, even though Beauty crashed twice while under anesthesia, the vet was able to bring her back and she is now healthy and loving life.

Beauty loves her little stuffed toys. She carries this blue one around everywhere she goes.She loves her foster mom, sleeps on the bed and love to sit in her lap. She is great with the other little dog in her foster home as well. Beauty enjoys sitting outside in the sun and follows the lead of the other dogs. She is good with dogs, kids and cats. All Beauty needs is someone to look past her age and spoil her rotten.

All dogs are fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed/neutered and Heartworm negative unless otherwise noted. We require an adoption application, home visit and adoption fee of $200 ($150 for senior). You also get a two week trial period with all of our dogs. To apply, simply go to www.forgottenpaws.com.

Many of our dogs are in foster homes all over Atlanta, thus an application is required before an appointment can be set to meet a dog.
