Here's what the humans have to say about me:
What a joy Holly is: laidback, polite, grateful for the smallest kindness.
While most pit bulls are rather high-energy (they're terriers, after all), she is remarkably low key and mellow.
As you can see in her eyes, she's known her share of heartbreak. When we rescued her last year, she was all alone, struggling to care for her puppies. Eventually, she was adopted...but to our dismay, her family recently gave her up. This is devastating for any dog, but especially for such a gentle soul.
Fortunately, an amazing foster family stepped up to give her the TLC and reassurance she needs. She's thriving under their care! She's adapted gracefully from a "country" dog to a Wrigleyville dog (although she's still mystified by the sound of the El).
Holly's fosters report that she has BEAUTIFUL manners and gets along wonderfully with their playful male pitty.
As you see, Holly is a gorgeous brindle with striking white markings. She's about 3 years old.
If you're looking for a loving, low maintenance companion, you'll want to meet this lovely lady.
