My story

Holly is still available as of November 18th. Please ask to see Holly as she is not on the main adoption floor.

Holly is a 4-5 year old female shepherd mix who was brought to our shelter on July 24th after her owner released her to animal control officers. Holly is a quiet girl who seems kind of sad, but once she's outside for her walk, she perks right up! She can be fearful of certain situations and doesn't seem to like loud, boisterous activity. For this reason, we recommend Holly goes to a home without young children. She is a nice size, about 40lbs, and she is fully grown. If you'd like to get to know Holly better, she'd like to meet you!

# $50 adoption fee. Holly will need to be spayed at her new owner's expense. $25 of the adoption fee would apply toward the spay charges.

We welcome adoptions from people living out of the area or out of the state of Virginia. The application process is completed in person at the shelter.
