My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Colt is a 1 year old black male with natural ears and a whole lot of puppy in him. He is a lovebug who gets along very well with other dogs and cats. He is extremely affectionate but already has learned not to be pushy. He came to rescue after being removed from a home by animal control as an emaciated 9 month old. Update 8/20/16 - Colt is such a wonderful boy! He is very smart and has picked up his manners beautifully. He has been evaluated and is currently doing physical therapy to develop the strength and coordination in his back end. That involves a lot of leash time, and he's become quite the gentleman. He is extremely playful and curious, and seems to have little fear. He also loves to chase butterflies, and can bounce high in the air trying to catch them. Once released from hold, he will be looking for an active family with another dog as a playmate.
