My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sunshine AKA Sunny is a neutered 7 yr old terrier mix that is 15-20 pounds. He was surrendered to the shelter having valley fever. Sadly, with a diagnosis of VF he was immediately placed on the E-List. Thankfully we spoke up in time and he is now safe with us!
Sunshine has been started on medication and is doing great! While he should not need to be on medication permanently, he does need to be on medication for some time. After several more months of treatment he will require a recheck and at that time it will be determined if he requires further medicating.

Under normal circumstances we would want a pet fully treated prior to adoption. However, due to the length of treatment for VF should the right forever family come along that is willing to continue treatment we would be happy to discuss adoption!

Sunny's happy demeanor is demonstrated by his smile along with his continuously wagging of his tail. He has a calm and collective disposition. Sunny is potty trained with a doggie door (and has also been kennel trained), loves to go for walks, and loves to please his owner.
