My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cleo was saved right on death's door. We received a call by one of our team members that this cat was laying in the heat with flies all around her, waiting to die. We arrived on scene ASAP, and took Cleo into loving hands. The mats on her were so severe, they were even on her feet and head! We had no choice but to shave her to her skin, and begin new fur growth. She had multiple ingrown nails, curling into her paw pad that caused ulcers, which needed to be removed. Cleo received a senior blood panel, and she has tested positive for FIV (Feline immunodeficiency virus). FIV is only transmitted through deep bite wounds, but we have no worries with Cleo, she is a super gentle cat and begs for attention, from cats and humans! Our veterinarian estimated Cleo to be 13 years old. At 13 years, Cleo is not symptomatic and we are so grateful for that! She is up to date on her vaccinations and spayed.
