My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tiki (born 2/15/2015) is a Schnauzer/Shih Tzu mix who has quite a story. She was removed from an abusive/neglectful home and she was in horrible shape.

When she came to us after her initial rescue, she was terrified, timid, dozens of little scabs on her body and would hide behind the dog house when she was outside - afraid of the other dogs.

We've included a pic of her when she was first removed from her previous home so you can see the shape she was in.

She has come out of her shell a LOT and we are getting longer and longer glimpses of her true personality. She is playful and sweet and wants most to be on your lap. She's loves to play keep-away with a toy (or just with herself!) and is happiest snuggled under a blanket on your lap.

She's a very very sweet little girl who just needed some love, stability and safety.

Her adoption fee is $175 and includes age-appropriate shots, worming, microchip and spay at our vet. An approved application is required (which can be found here: http://pawsitivetailsrescue.org/our-adoptable-pets/pawsitive-tails-rescue-dog-adoption-application-form/), as is an adoption contract.
